A DIVISIVE online show chronicling the emotions of Arsenal fans will be given a much larger audience from next Thursday.
The host of YouTube’s ArsenalFanTV, Robbie Lyle, will present The Real Football Fan Show on Channel 4, which airs at midnight.
The online channel, which boasts 740,000 subscribers, has faced criticism in the past, with a pub landlady starting a petition to have it banned.
Una Hoyle, of the Gunners pub, in Blackstock Road, accused the show of “inciting disharmony among fans of all ages” in the petition.
It read: “It is in no way representative of the majority of the Arsenal fanbase and aspires to cause friction and hatred among Arsenal’s fans.”
ArsenalFanTV, created by Mr Lyle back in 2012, shows Gunners fans assessing the performance of their team at matches throughout the world.
Channel 4 has said Mr Lyle’s 30-minute programme will be a “no-holds-barred debate on all the latest news and controversy from the beautiful game. It’s going to be emotional.”
