Caledonian Road stabbing: Two men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder bailed by police

Emergency services were called to the stabbing near the Barnsbury Estate shopping parade

TWO men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman was stabbed on Caledonian Road have been bailed by police.

Officers, paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance were called to the street by the Barnsbury Estate shopping parade at 10.20am on Saturday morning.

A woman, aged in her 20s, was found with stab injuries and was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not life-threatening, the Met Police said.

Two men, aged 32 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Both were taken into police custody for questioning and have been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in late September.

Enquiries are continuing by officers from the Central North CID.
