A festival held in Camden Passage on Saturday marked the end of summer.
Visitors who braved the rain were treated to country music, entertainment and charity raffles. Mayor of Islington Councillor Dave Poyser visited businesses and traders in the Passage.
Christine Lovett, chief executive of angel.london, the Business Improve- ment District for the Angel, who organised the event, said: “We were delighted that we were able to support businesses throughout Camden Passage by organising this event with them.
“While the weather wasn’t too kind on the day, there was a great atmosphere in the Passage and the event brought people from near and far to enjoy all that it has to offer.”
She added: “We look forward to building on the success of Saturday’s mini-festival with plans for further events across the Angel in the future.”
The Camden Passage End of Summer festival was funded through Thames Water Community Fund, set up to help those affected by major flooding in the area caused by a ruptured water main in 2016.
