Charity choir comes home

01 November, 2019 — By Emily Finch

A CHARITY choir made a “triumphant return” to their home borough on Wednesday night.

Around 15 singers from charity Kith and Kids performed at St Luke’s Church in Holloway alongside members of the Metropolitan Police Choir.

Kith and Kids supports families with learning disabilities and is based in Tottenham. They were formerly at disabilities charity Centre404 in Camden Road around 25 years ago.

“Sadly we had to move because there was no lift there for our users. But you can see we’ve made a triumphant return this week and have come back to our roots,” said charity director Marjolein de Vries.

The choir, which works with people with disabilities, sang Louis Armstrong’s What A Wonderful World and raised £665 for their charity.
