Cleaning up air pollution? Impossible

14 April, 2017

• I FAIL to see how any London Mayor can clean up pollution in London. You can’t get rid of large delivery vehicles in this day and age – replacing them with smaller vehicles will only increase the problem.

We need buses for mass transport, how much road space is needed by 80 or 90 cyclists, the same number of people that you get on a modern London bus?

Is Caroline Russell dreaming of going back to the horse-drawn vehicle era? Think of how deep the roads would be in horse manure. Is that something Green Party cyclists would like?

Surely the answer to mass transportation is to improve telecommunications as there must be a large percentage of commuters who come into London to sit in front of a computer.

Why can’t they do that at home, or at a local centre?
