A MAN has been arrested after police raided a cannabis farm in Stroud Green Road on Friday, described by officers as “Finsbury Park’s own Amazon rainforest”.
Armed with a warrant, officers from the eastern wards of the borough cut through metal shutters of a shop front just before 9am.
Inside the address on the busy road, a room crammed full with large cannabis plants with overhead lighting and fans greeted officers. The plants have an estimated street value of hundreds of thousands of pounds.

“Inside the address we found Finsbury Park’s own Amazon rainforest! It’s taken some time but now all of the drugs have been seized.”
A 39-year-old man was arrested. He was released without charge while the investigation continues.
