Estate residents protesting about the size of the proposed 420-pupil school
• ISLINGTON Green Party shares the concerns of residents in Golden Lane over the development of the Richard Cloudesley site (School a ‘mistake’ for historic estate, March 16).
Not least because the larger than necessary school reduces the number of social housing units the site could provide.
Our concerns have been dismissed by council leader Richard Watts as evidence that the Green Party opposes social housing. That is patent nonsense and Councillor Watts should now apologise and retract.
