Grayson Perry’s missing cat is found on roof
08 December, 2017
A CAT belonging to Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry was discovered stranded on a roof, four days after going missing.
Mr Perry made a social media appeal on Tuesday for the return of Kevin, who has featured in a number his works.
The Essex-born sculptor, who lives in Rosebury Avenue, Clerkenwell, tweeted: “Kevin has been missing now for two-and-a-half days, consequently Twitter is torture what with all the lovely cats. We miss him so much.”
Yesterday (Thursday) Mr Perry’s daughter, Florence, tweeted her joy at Kevin’s safe return, saying he had been “on the roof two doors down the whole time”.
They discovered that Kevin had broken his tail
The black and white cat, welcomed into the Perry home two years ago, was found as a stray on the streets of Hackney and taken to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
