DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a teenager who was stabbed to death in Archway have charged two men.
Kamal Nuur, 18, died after being attacked in North Road in September last year.
Police said this week that Melvis Mariano, 21, and Michael Lebbie, 18, had been charged with his murder.
A 17-year-old girl has also been charged with assisting an offender. All three were originally arrested in October and charged on Tuesday this week.
Kamal was a former pupil at Duncombe Primary School and grew up around the Elthorne Estate. He later went to Highgate Wood School in Crouch End and Acland Burghley in Tufnell Park.
His mother, Amael, said after his death: “It is one of the worst things anybody could ever go through. The sad thing is, this has happened to Kamal now and it is going to happen to others again and again. That’s what upsets me. Nothing is being done. Nothing is changing.”
