• HOW very disappointing that the Tribune made no mention of the great number of young people who attended the Remembrance Service at Islington Green last Sunday (Tributes paid to the fallen, November 17).
You reported that a procession made up of members of the armed forces and police made its way down Upper Street but there was no mention of the young people who also attended.
The 5th Islington Scout Group were the first scout group to attend in 1976. Since then the numbers of beavers, cubs, scouts, rainbows, brownies and guides, as well as other young cadets, has grown year on year.
There are now several hundreds who bravely march with pride in their smart uniforms and with flags held high. Perhaps next year you could also give credit to these young people for their magnificent turnout.
