The Hampstead squad celebrate their victory after the match that was played at the home of North Greenford United

HAMPSTEAD Football Club showed off the rapidly emerging strength in depth in their women’s ranks on Sunday when their development squad resoundingly beat Old Actonians to become cup conquerors of the capital.

Played at North Greenford United FC’s home ground, two goals from winger Toby Omutunde, one a spectacular lob over the goalkeeper, and strikes from Grace Moore and Shauna Murphy saw Hampstead run out 4-0 winners to capture the Greater London Women’s Football League Invitational Cup.

The players will have the opportunity to parade their trophy on Sunday May 7 when the club holds a special open day.
