Make a date for the Victoria and Albert Museum on June 17

Ana Silvera: the composer divides her time between Kentish Town and Copenhagen

• READERS of your review of Ana Silvera’s brilliant song cycle Oracles (Why Silvera is good as gold, May 17) might like to know that another of her works, in collaboration with Islington charity Freedom from Torture, is to be premiered at the Victoria and Albert Museum on Sunday June 17 as part of Refugee Week’s opening gala.

Ana wrote the music for Lost and Found at the Roundhouse in September 2016, and has now arranged it for chamber performance. It’s an amazing, funny and heartbreaking, series of personal stories of the asylum journey to London, what was lost and what found along the way.

It’s free to attend, along with lots of other great free events at the museum for Refugee Week. Visit www.vam.ac.uk/event/LDwyMBZy/lost-and-found-jun-2018 for details.
