Make your voice heard at the hustings at the town hall

13 April, 2018

• I LOOK forward to seeing voters at the hustings at the town hall on Tuesday (April 17), from 6.30-8.30pm. Campaigners will be there to ask questions about health services, education, services for women and pensioners, and of course the effect of austerity on services in Islington.

And I’m sure many people will want to ask candidates how they see the 10-acre Holloway Prison site (now that the prison has been closed by the government) being used to help solve the desperate shortage of genuinely affordable housing in Islington.

Don’t forget that the deadline to register to vote on May 3 is also on Tuesday.
