Man found by police in Japan Crescent suffering from "stab injuries"

A man is fighting for his life after he was stabbed repeatedly in the early hours of this morning.

A trail of blood run for hundreds of yards down Stroud Green Road into Mount Pleasant Crescent and then across to Japan Crescent.

Japan Crescent residents were cleaning blood off their doors and front gates saying that the victim must have banged on their doors calling for help.

Rebecca Mao-Hodgson, whose home was one of the several that the victim ran to, said: “It is so scary. The blood was on the window and down the side of the wall. I just hope the he makes it.”

Met police were called by paramedics at about 1:45am to reports of a man suffering from stab wounds.

Officers attended and found the victim with suffering from “stab injuries.”

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

No arrests have been made.
