A MAN found collapsed in Holloway Road has successfully been identified after an appeal for help by police.
Officers were flagged down on Saturday evening after the man was found unconscious between Madras Place and Ronalds Road.
An appeal was launched by police on Monday to try and identify the man so his family could be informed he was in a critical condition.
Police confirmed to the Tribune today (Tuesday) he has now been identified as a 53-year-old man from Islington and his next of kin has been told. He still remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “The incident is not being treated as suspicious. We thank the public and the media for their assistance.”
