A person died at Archway Underground station this afternoon.
The London Ambulance Service were called to the station at 4.22pm and witnesses described a large police presence at the Northern Line station.
An incident response officer, London’s Air Ambulance alongside a hazardous area response team were deployed to the area but the person was found dead at the scene, according to a London Ambulance Service spokeswoman.
There were “severe delays” reported on the Northern Line service due to an “earlier customer incident” with tickets accepted on Thameslink and bus services.
The British Transport Police have been contacted for comment.
