A “PROLIFIC” moped-riding thief from Islington was this week behind bars.
Jumaane Cadogan, 19, of Prebend Street, was jailed for three years and 10 months at Wood Green Crown Court on Wednesday. He had pleaded guilty to 12 counts of theft on May 13.
Cadogan started his crime spree on March 12 after stealing a moped. He used it over five days to snatch phones worth £11,000 from pedestrians.
Chief Inspector Jim Corbett said: “Cadogan was malicious and violent while offending.”
