Neighbours object to Clerkenwell pub’s music and films bid
04 October, 2019
A CLERKENWELL pub is looking to renovate its upper floor so that it can stage live music and screen films – but neighbours are objecting to the plan.
Nine residents who live close to the Wilmington Arms in Rosebery Avenue have asked Islington Council to reject the application.
One predicted that the switch would create “unbearable” levels of noise in the neighbourhood.
Licensing councillors at the Town Hall are due to make a decision on the proposed changes at a meeting next week.
