A CCTV image of the man police want to speak to

A WOMAN was sexually assaulted on a busy staircase at Highbury and Islington station.

The woman, 27, was walking up a staircase away from the Victoria line when a man approached her at the top of the stairs and touched her inappropriately. It happened at 6.45pm on Wednesday, November 2. The victim then contacted British Transport Police using their text-reporting service.

Investigating officer PC George James said: “I am keen to speak with the man in the CCTV images as I believe he has vital information that could help our enquiries.”
