Police car collides with pedestrian in Camden Town

Police car was responding to emergency call on Sunday evening

A PEDESTRIAN is in hospital after a collision with a police car which was responding to an emergency call on Sunday.

Officers from the Met’s Road and Transport Policing Command are investigating after the police car collided with a 40-year-old man at about 8pm on Camden Road near the junction with Royal College Street.

The Met said the man remains in a central London hospital but his condition is not life-threatening or changing.

The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed.
