Police investigating Archway rape release efit image

Anyone who recognises the image is urged to contact the police

Officers have released this image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the attack

POLICE are investigating after a woman was lured into an alley and raped in Archway.

The 37-year-old took a bus from Green Park to Archway on Saturday, December 6, when she was approached by two men on scooters.

After being lured into the alleyway and raped, she was able to escape and get help from a passing member of the public.

Police have now released an efit of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the attack.

Detective Constable Martyn Kenneally, of central north safeguarding team, said: “If you recognise the man in this photo, please get in touch with us without delay.

This was a traumatic incident and the victim is being supported by specially trained officers.

At this time, it is not being linked to any other incident.”
