DETECTIVES have issued another appeal for information after a man was almost blinded in an attack at a Caledonian Road pub.

A man is still being sought in connection with a vicious assault inside the Millers public house on September 10 last year. He shouted abuse at Deborah Wilson, 46, before husband Sharron Wilson, 45, confronted the man over what was said to his wife. The man punched Mr Wilson, a teacher from Peterborough, in the face, before also hitting Mrs Wilson. Mr Wilson required emergency treatment to his eye, and his vision is still affected.

Anyone who can assist the investigation is asked to contact Islington CID via 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
