MID-MARCH will bring with it a mouth-watering north London derby after Arsenal and Tottenham were paired together in the quarter-finals of the Women’s FA Cup.

New signing Caitlin Foord scored on her Gunners debut on Sunday as they beat Championship side Lewes at Meadow Park. Danielle van de Donk was also on target in the 2-0 win.

Spurs, meanwhile, put on a five-star showing at Coventry United. Striker Rianna Dean hit a hat-trick, while defenders Siri Worm and Lucia Leon also both found the back of the net in a 5-0 victory at the Butts Park Arena.

The rivals will now go head-to-head on March 15 at Arsenal’s home ground in Borehamwood. Tottenham will be hoping it’s third time lucky having already lost twice against Joe Montemurro’s charges – 2-0 in the Women’s Super League in November, and 6-0 in a pre-season friendly.

Chelsea boss Emma Hayes, from Camden, has also guided her team to the quarter-finals, where they will play Everton away.
