Harpsichordist Carole Cerasi performs at Handel & Hendrix on Tuesday

MUSIC on the theme A Baroque Christmas is being sung by popular choir North Camden Chorus in St Mary Brookfield, Dartmouth Park, this Saturday evening (December 8). Items include Part One of Handel’s Messiah, Zelenka’s Magnificat and Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets – plus carols by Gardner and Rutter with audience participation.

HARPSICHORDIST Carole Cerasi is at Handel & Hendrix, Mayfair, next Tuesday evening (December 11). She’s playing two of the greatest keyboard pieces ever composed in B minor – Bach’s Overture in the French style and Couperin’s 8th Ordre.

FUNDS to save the Sing for Freedom Choir are being raised at a festive concert being held at Hargrave Hall, Archway, next Tuesday evening (December 11). Charity Freedom From Torture helped to launch the choir in 2026. But it has now withdrawn support leaving the choir to co-exist with the Mixed-Up Chorus. Performing at Tuesday’s concert are the Mixed-Up Chorus and Together Productions.
