Stab victim leaves trail of blood on front doors

Man in a critical but stable condition after the incident which is believed to have happened at a party

A CRITICALLY injured man left a trail of blood for hundreds of yards after being stabbed in Stroud Green Road in the early hours of Friday morning.

Residents living in Japan Crescent, Crouch Hill, woke up to find blood smeared on their front doors.

The man, who has not been named by police, is in a critical but stable condition after the incident on November 15. It is believed that he was stabbed at a party in Stroud Green Road.

Japan Crescent residents who cleaned blood off their doors and front gates said that the victim must have banged on their doors calling for help.

Rebecca Mao-Hodgson, whose home was one of the several that the victim ran to, said: “It is so scary. The blood was on the window and down the side of the wall.

“I just hope he makes it.”

The Met Police were called by paramedics at about 1.45am to reports of a man suffering from stab wounds.

Officers attended and found the victim with suffering from “stab injuries”.
