Street attack sparks police appeal

POLICE are hunting two suspects after a man’s arm was slashed with a knife near King’s Cross rail station.

Officers were called to York Way to reports of a man with a knife at 10.50pm last Thurs­­day.

When they arrived a 36-year-old man was found inside the station with an arm injury.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police believe the man was assaulted in Pentonville Road, with witnesses saying he was seen talking to two men before an argument began.

The first suspect, described by police as 6ft tall and of slim build, was seen wearing a black tracksuit with cream/yellow trainers.

The second suspect is described as 6ft 2in, slim build and wearing a grey tracksuit.

Officers believe both suspects are aged between 24 and 30.
