Finsbury Park Station closes as two men injured in suspected knife attack

Both men, believed to be in their 20s, made their way into shops nearby to seek help

Finsbury Park Station 

TWO men have been injured in a suspected knife attack close to Finsbury Park Station tonight, according to the police.

Both men, believed to be in their 20s, made their way into shops nearby to seek help.

Paramedics treated them at the scene and they were taken to an East London hospital.

Fans at the Arsenal v BATE Borisov game were warned to stay away from Finsbury Park as the station was closed.

A number of crime scenes have been set up.

Officers from Islington are investigating and no arrests have been made.
