HARRY Kane continued his sparkling form as he bagged two goals in what was a stroll for Mauricio Pochettino’s super Spurs in todays lunch time kick off.

The forward has 11 goals now in September and the result was Tottenham’s sixth successive away victory- their best ever run in the Premiership era.

Kane’s brace was added to by a Ben Davies finish and a late, late strike from Moussa Sissoko – the first for the £30m man in Spurs colours after 44 appearances.

After the game the hot shot striker said: “I feel good, I feel confident and I am there to put the goals away. We have to continue this after the international break.”

And he added that despite the score line, Huddersfield – previously unbeaten at home – had made Spurs work for the three points.

He added: “It wasn’t straightforward – but we got off to a great start, we wanted to come, score some early goals and control the game and that’s exactly how it turned out.”

It took just nine minutes for Spurs to get their noses in front. Kane strode in on goal after confusion in the Town defence and full back Davies increased the lead on 16 minutes, capping off a fine one touch move.

Kane’s second was the pick of the bunch, with the forward using his strength to hold the ball up on the edge of the box before working some space and firing home from distance. Dele Alli – who would later be accused of diving in the box as he looked for a penalty – hit the post and Spurs continued to threaten whenever they looked motivated.

With the game won so early on, Spurs were content to spend much of the second half managing the game and not exerting themselves too much – though a late finish by substitute Sissoko, who tapped home a Davies cross, gave the travelling support further reason for cheer.
