CHILDREN flocked to Freightliners farm in Holloway on Wednesday for “meet the animals” day. They were able to hold and stroke guinea pigs, chickens and Molly the Maine Coon cat.

The young visitors checked out the bigger farm animals, among them goats and cows. Wisper, a male Baggot rare breed goat, is visiting the farm for two months, on loan from the Salvation Army, to mate and produce offspring.

The farm’s youth and community worker Jane Gregory said: “It’s been pretty busy, so that’s good. There’s always things for the children to do here.”
