Upper Street stabbing: man is charged with murder

A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been charged after the fatal stabbing of a father-of-two in Upper Street.

Reece Williams, of Northdown Street, in King’s Cross, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with the murder of 30-year-old Marcel Campbell.

A trial date has been set for November 12 at the Old Bailey.

Mr Campbell, from Tottenham, died when he was attacked on the busy high street on Monday, May 21.

Police were originally looking for two men in connection with the stabbing, but the Met Police confirmed this week they are no longer looking for anyone else.
